Petite Wave Dome
Brass, bronze and sterling silver ring. Handcrafted in my studio, Petite Wave Dome is part of the percussion series of rings that make unique sounds based on their size, shape and metal filling. This 1/2 inch brass dome was hammered and textured with a small wave pattern before I encased a few pieces of bronze shot inside with a silver back plate. You may notice, the back plate has a few holes in it, which allow the sound to resonate and makes a cute subtle sound when shaken. The backing and ring shank are made from sterling silver.
